Izaak Kaufman is an Associate Attorney at Grimaldi & Kinde, where he represents clients in domestic relations matters and is expanding his practice into estate planning. He brings a balanced and practical approach to his work, emphasizing clear communication, careful preparation, and compassion for clients navigating significant life changes.

Before entering private practice, Izaak gained experience in government affairs, policy development, and community advocacy, working with organizations across the public and nonprofit sectors. These experiences deepened his understanding of how law and policy intersect to shape people’s lives and continue to inform his thoughtful, client-centered approach to legal practice.

Originally from South Florida, Izaak earned his undergraduate degree in International Affairs from Florida State University and his J.D. from Florida International University College of Law. He later completed an LL.M. in International Humanitarian and Security Law at the University of Ottawa, where his research focused on Indigenous rights and climate policy. As part of his LL.M. program, he worked with the United Nations Security Council, conducting legal and political research for institutional reports on conflict resolution and international governance.

When he’s not practicing law, Izaak enjoys spending time outdoors with his dog, following hockey and soccer, and exploring music and film.
