Laura Uses Her Extensive Experience And Expertise In Her Representation Of Clients.

Laura P. Kinde

Laura uses her extensive trial experience as a family law attorney and former Deputy District Attorney to help clients navigate the emotional and legal complexities of divorce and custody matters. Her primary focus is guiding individuals through family law issues, both as a strong advocate for clients and as an effective mediator. Laura is deeply committed to helping people resolve conflicts with dignity and efficiency, whether through skilled negotiation or structured mediation.

She grew up in Greeley, Colorado and attended the University of Colorado at Boulder. After college, she moved to Denver’s Central Park (formerly Stapleton) neighborhood and earned her law degree from the University of Denver. While in law school, she worked in the Cold Case and County Court Units at the Denver District Attorney’s Office. After graduating, she joined the Boulder District Attorney’s Office, where she spent the majority of her time in the Sexual Assault Unit. During her time there, she completed over 100 jury trials and negotiated thousands of fair and meaningful resolutions.

That experience sharpened her ability to listen, assess, and help people resolve even the most difficult and emotionally charged cases. In her current family law practice, Laura applies those same skills to help individuals work through divorce and custody issues with care, clarity, and strength. As a mediator, she creates a balanced environment where both parties are heard and supported in reaching thoughtful, lasting agreements.

Laura has also worked extensively with law enforcement officers navigating divorce and custody challenges, giving her unique insight into the pressures they face. She has presented statewide on topics including campus investigations, forensic interviewing, and sexual assault investigations. In recognition of her work, she was named Colorado’s Prosecutor of the Year in 2020 and received the Champion for Children award in 2019.

Laura now focuses her practice on helping individuals and families move forward—whether through advocacy or mediation—with compassion, experience, and integrity.

"To have someone stand beside you and help you through some of the most difficult times is priceless. I will be forever grateful for all that you did for me! Mrs. Kinde's knowledge and professionalism speak for themselves.
